2222 M

The basic coated stick electrode produces a Ni-based weld metal that is resistant to cracking and corrosion. No risk of embrittlement due to the formation of σ phases, carbides or nitrides.
Residual welding stresses are reduced by plastic deformation. High ductility. Good gap bridging properties, good suitability for root welding.
Insensitive to long-term temperature stresses and heat treatments. Scale resistant.

Processing instructions
Remove cracked and otherwise damaged material. Clean welding areas. Re-dry at 350 °C / 2 h. During welding, adjust the heat to the component, its material and dimensions. Use line bead technique with low line energy. For workpieces with shrinkage
workpieces, first alloy the flanks.
