Processing instructions
Preparation
If necessary, clean the joints and the surfaces to be joined. Round off any sharp edges. Degrease the parts with a suitable solvent.
Apply GreenFlux 18 M to the surfaces with a brush. The flux facilitates the wetting of the filler metal on the base metal. It can also be used as an indicator for the joining temperature.
Heat locally to the melting point of the flux. Melt the end of the flux-coated filler metal rod and apply to the joint. Allow the drops to bond to the base metal. Spread the drops with a continuous movement of the flame.
Do not overheat.
Cleaning
Rinse with water
If cleaning is necessary, use a mechanical cleaning method: Sanding, grinding, scraping, etc.
