1.4948 - X 6 CrNi 18-11,
1.6905 - X 10 CrNiNb 18-10
as well as corresponding clad steels and for surfacing these materials.
Typical applications are
Alloy-like joint welds in chemical apparatus and tank construction, in pipeline construction, in the food and beverage industry, in the textile and cellulose industry and in dye works.
and in dye works. Also for applications on sealing surfaces of fittings and flanges.
Application instructions
Clean welding areas. Limit interpass temperature to 150 °C. Weld with short, spray or pulsed arc, pulse arc technique preferred. Use wire brushes made of austenitic CrNi steels.
