CastoMag 45503 S
Austenitic weld metal with a low δ-ferrite content. Resistant to intergranular corrosion up to 350 °C. Scale resistant up to 800 °C. The lowest operating temperature is –269 °C. Can be polished to a high lustre.

as well as the corresponding clad steels and for the build-up welding of these materials.
CastoMag 45503 S is used in the chemical and textile industries, in mechanical engineering, apparatus, pipeline and container construction, as well as in the general food industry and in
breweries.
Processing instructions
Clean the welding areas. Limit the interlayer temperature to 150 °C. Use short, spray or pulsed arc welding; prefer Pulse-Arc technology. Use wire brushes made of austenitic CrNi steels.
