EutecTrode XHD 6715

Rutile-coated high-performance rod electrode with an output of approx. 230 %. Hypereutectic weld metal on an FeCrC basis with embedded special Mo, W and Nb carbides of high density. Even a single layer can withstand strong abrasion at high temperatures of up to 650 °C. Resistant to erosion in gaseous media.

Applications
For hardfacing workpieces made of unalloyed and low-alloy steel and cast steel.

Typical applications include:
Paddle breakers, grates and fans in agglomeration plants, feed hoppers, bell-type covers and screw heads.

Processing instructions
Remove any cracked or damaged material. Clean the welding area. Adjust the heat control during welding to the component, its material and dimensions. When working with hardenable steels, a buffer layer must be welded. Use the stringer bead technique.
