EuTroLoy 16604

Metal powder for build-up welding using PTA or laser cladding. Very fine martensitic microstructure. Rust and scale resistant coatings with high adhesion resistance. Low
coefficient of friction with metallic sliding friction. Heat resistant up to 500 °C and thermal shock resistant. Non-magnetic and work-hardening.

Applications
For plasma powder build-up welding of unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy steels and the corresponding cast steel grades.

Typical applications are
Fittings, gate valves, valves, valve seats, cold and hot forming tools, drawing rings, stretching rolls, bending beams, forging inserts, spindles, sealing surfaces, buffer layers for cobalt hard alloys.

Applications
Remove damaged material. Clean welding areas. Adjust the heat input during welding to the component, its material and dimensions. Minimize mixing. Allow the workpiece to cool slowly.
