Applications
For gap, joint and build-up soldering, also in series production, e.g: Unalloyed and low-alloy steels (structural steels, case-hardening, heat-treatable and nitriding steels), nickel, nickel alloys, malleable cast iron (GTW), nickel silver (CuNiZn alloys) and for joint brazing of cast iron materials.
Typical application examples are
Brazing sheet metal for the automotive industry, washing machines and refrigerators; tubular and sectional steel constructions, luggage racks, trailers, steel furniture, shelves and consoles.
Processing instructions
Clean soldering areas. Round off edges. Coat soldering surfaces with flux. Heat the tip of the soldering rod
and dip into the flux. Preheat the workpiece widely and continuously. Do not overheat. Remove corrosive flux residues.
Heat sources: Flame soldering (acetylene; neutral), oven, HF induction.
Delivery form
80 MF: notched flux-cored solder rod (TIG soldering), Ø 2.0 x 500mm
