1666 XFC

Cadmium-free silver solder with low melting temperature. Resistant to seawater. Low viscosity. Good capillary properties. Tough joints with high strength. Operating temperatures from approx. -200 °C to 200 °C.

Applications
For gap brazing, also in series production, e.g: Unalloyed and low-alloy steels (structural steels, case-hardening, heat-treatable and nitriding steels), high-alloy steels (stainless CrNi steels), nickel, nickel alloys,
copper and copper alloys as well as malleable cast iron (GTW).
Typical application examples are
Equipment and machinery in the food and beverage industry such as bronze and brass fittings, piping, nozzles, cladding and instruments; household appliances such as dishwashers; apparatus for heating and cooling technology. Soldering of high-speed work plates
in toolmaking.
For brazing gas installations made of copper pipes in accordance with DVGW worksheet GW 2.
