CastoMag 45516 S

Austenitic weld metal with approx. 15 % δ-ferrite. Resistant to intergranular corrosion up to 400 °C. Scale resistant up to 1050 °C. The lowest operating temperature is -80 °C. Maximum operating temperature of 300 °C for mixed joints.

Processing instructions
Clean welding areas. Limit interpass temperature to 150 °C. Weld with short, spray or pulsed arc, pulse arc technique preferred. Use wire brushes made of austenitic CrNi steels.
