CastoTig 45353 W Filler alloy rod for TIG welding 2.0 mm

Description

CastoTIG 45353 W is a TIG rod that produces a ferritic-martensitic deposit designed for joining similar base metals and applying wear-resistant coatings. It offers good abrasion resistance and metal-to-metal friction as well as combined wear at temperatures up to 450°C. The deposit is scale-resistant up to 900°C and seawater-resistant. Optimal mechanical properties and corrosion resistance are achieved after heat treatment of the weld.

Application Areas:
Resistant chromium steels. Designed for the final layer on chromium steels joined with an austenitic filler metal.
Parts exposed to wear and corrosion in the chemical, cleaning, and dairy industries (valves, pumps, turbines, nozzles, pipelines, containers) as well as parts exposed to high temperatures, such as drive rolls just before the cooler (iron & steel), extrusion press rods, conveyor screws (pulp & paper), valves (water, gas, or steam), deburring tools, molds for rubber, glass, or plastics.
