Eutalloy PE 1229

Heterogeneous metal powder mixture of diluted matrix component and crushed tungsten carbides. Coatings with NiCrBSi matrix and embedded hard materials. High wear resistance against abrasion and erosion. For operating temperatures up to 700 °C.

Applications
For thermal spraying with simultaneous melting of unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy steels and the corresponding steel castings as well as cast iron materials and nickel alloys.

Typical applications are
Screw conveyors, clay mixers, blades of sandblasting and other blowers, turbine guide vanes,
wire drawing drums, fan blades and pump screws.

Processing instructions
Remove damaged material. Clean spray areas. When spraying, adjust the heat to the component, its material and dimensions.
To protect the surface against oxidation, spray on a thin layer and melt in with further powder supply. Allow to cool in still air.
