Applications
For flame spraying unalloyed and low-alloy steels and the corresponding cast steel grades as well as cast iron materials.
Typical applications are
Corrosion-resistant coatings for components made of unalloyed and low-alloy steels; repairing defects on hot-dip galvanized coatings; restoring corrosion protection on hot-dip galvanized steel components after welding.
Processing instructions
Remove damaged material. Round off or chamfer edges. Clean spray areas, preheat to 50 - 150 °C and roughen. Apply in preheated condition to the desired layer thickness. Maintain spray coat temperature between 50 °C and 200 °C. Do not exceed 0.5 mm coat thickness. Allow to cool in still air.
