EuTroLoy 16625 M Metal powder

For corrosion-resistant coatings

Description

Metal powder for joining and overlay welding using PTA (Plasma Transferred Arc) or Laser Cladding. It has high ductility and excellent corrosion resistance (e.g., seawater). It is cold-tough and suitable for low-temperature applications.

Technical Data

Standards:

DIN EN 14700: ~ P Ni 2
AWS: ~ A 5.14 ERNiCrMo-3

Manufacturing Process: Gas atomized

Mechanical Properties (as-welded, at 20°C):

Property                     Minimum Value
Hardness [HV 30]                210
*The achievable hardness values depend on the chosen welding parameters, preheating temperatures, etc. Therefore, a guarantee for achieving the hardness values cannot be given.

Applications

For plasma powder welding of unalloyed, low-alloyed, and high-alloyed steels and corresponding cast steel grades, cast iron, and nickel-based alloys.
For joining welding of high-alloyed steels and nickel-chromium alloys.

Typical Applications:

Ship engine parts
Power plant components
Offshore installations
Valve components for oil
Tools for underwater work and low-temperature equipment

Processing Instructions

Preparation:

Remove damaged material. Clean welding areas. Adjust heat management during welding to the component, its material, and dimensions, preheat if necessary up to 650°C. Keep dilution low. Allow the workpiece to cool slowly.
