EuTroLoy 16001
Metal powder for build-up welding using PTA or laser cladding. High abrasion resistance under pressure. Good heat and corrosion resistance. Low coefficient of friction with metallic sliding friction, insensitive to adhesive wear. For operating temperatures up to 750 °C.

Applications
For plasma powder joining and build-up welding of unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy steels and the corresponding cast steel grades.
Typical applications are
Extruder screws for glass fiber reinforced plastic compounds, pump shaft bushings, mixer arms, bearing seats with high local pressure, valve seats, woodworking machines, surgical scissors.
Applications
Remove damaged material. Clean welding areas. During welding, adjust the heat input to the component, its material and dimensions, preheating up to 650 °C if necessary. Minimize mixing. Allow the workpiece to cool slowly.
