EuTroLoy 16012
Metal powder for build-up welding using PTA or laser cladding. High abrasion resistance under pressure and impact stress (cavitation). Heat and corrosion resistant. Low coefficient of friction with metallic sliding friction, insensitive to adhesive wear. For operating temperatures up to 750 °C.

Applications
For plasma powder joining and build-up welding of unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy steels and the corresponding cast steel grades.
Typical applications are
Slider seats, extruder screws for plastic compounds, screw conveyors for wood chips and hydrapulpers in the paper industry, tools in the wood industry, segments of nose rings and clinker cooling plates. Tools for the paper, plastics and wood processing industries.
Applications
Remove damaged material. Clean welding areas. During welding, adjust the heat control to the component, its material and dimensions, preheating up to 650 °C if necessary. Minimize mixing. Allow the workpiece to cool slowly.
