Castolin CP 33500

Rutile-basic-coated, core-alloyed stick electrode with austenitic weld metal. Resistant to pitting and intercrystalline corrosion up to 350 °C. Scale resistant up to 800 °C. The lowest operating temperature is -100 °C. Can be polished to a mirror finish.

Castolin CP 33500 is used in the chemical industry, the textile industry, in machine, apparatus, pipeline and container construction as well as in the general food industry and in breweries.

Processing instructions
Clean welding areas. Re-dry at 350 °C/1 h. Limit interpass temperature to 150 °C. Use wire brushes made of austenitic CrNi steels.
