Good corrosion resistance to weathering and seawater. No tendency to hot cracking. Can be machined. Can be mirror polished and anodized. Permissible operating temperatures from -196 to 80 °C.

Typical application examples are:
Window and door frames, roof structures, cladding and facades in the construction industry; pipelines, railings and bodywork in vehicle and shipbuilding as well as machine parts in the food industry.

Processing instructions
Clean welding areas. During welding, adjust the heat input to the component, its material and dimensions; preheat solid workpieces to 150 - 250 °C. Ensure a continuous supply of filler material. Form sufficiently for root welds.
