Wide range of applications

DERBY 426 DS is a multiprocess machine with a wide range of welding processes. The DERBY series is designed to be used for manual or characteristic MIG/MAG, electrode (MMA) and TIG (with lift arc ignition) welding.
DERBY 426 DS has been designed to make the welder's work as easy as possible by simplifying the setting of welding parameters. Every function and parameter can be easily set and configured using the control panel.
Characteristic programs for steel, stainless steel, aluminium and cored wire in the most common diameters are available.

Welding at the highest level
DERBY 426 DS combines ease of use, reliability and robustness for excellent arc characteristics, providing high-quality joints and low spatter thanks to digital arc control (inverter technology). The 4-roll drive system ensures
perfect wire feeding, especially with cored wires.
The high duty cycle (60% at 400 A) and easy operation make the DERBY 426 DS the ideal device for applications in the medium to demanding power range.

The DERBY series already complies with the new EU Ecodesign Directive for environmentally friendly design of products (Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC).
