TeroMatec 3952 - Cored wire electrode

Cored wire electrode for scale- and emery-resistant coatings

TeroMatec 3952, Ø 1.6mm, 15.0 kg

Self-protecting, slag-containing flux-cored wire electrode based on FeCrC with the carbide formers Mo, Nb, W and V. Hypereutectic weld metal with a high proportion of embedded, complex mixed carbides. High hot hardness. Permissible operating temperatures up to 700 °C. Excellent wear resistance to abrasion by mineral substances. Hardening cracks have no influence on the high wear resistance.

Technical data
DIN EN 14700: T Fe16

Hardness: 60 - 65 HRC

Applications
For build-up welding of unalloyed and low-alloy steels and cast steel materials.

Typical applications are
Components that are exposed to higher operating temperatures, such as reinforcement plates for blast furnaces, fire grates, large fan blades, crusher elements and slag crushers.

Processing instructions
Remove cracked or damaged material. Clean welding areas. During welding, adjust the heat input to the component, its material and dimensions. For hardenable steels, it is necessary to weld a buffer layer.

Welding positions: PA, PB
Type of current: = (+)
