- Suitable for brazing copper, brass, bronze, steel, including stainless steel, hard metals, as well as nickel and nickel alloys.
- Not suitable for aluminum-containing copper materials.
- For low and high melting silver brazing alloys such as Castolin 181, 1655, 1666, 1701, 1703, and 1800.
- Extended service life with low-melting, high-silver content brazing alloys.
Processing Instructions
- Flux residues are corrosive and must be removed from the brazed joint.
- Flux residues can be removed with hot water or by soaking in cold water followed by rinsing.
- Flux residues can also be removed mechanically, for example by brushing, grinding, or sandblasting.
- Powder adheres well to the hot brazing rod.
- Can be mixed with distilled water to form a paste.
