CastoMag 45752

Weld metal that work-hardens through impact, high pressures or edge pressure. High wear resistance against metallic sliding friction and cavitation. Good corrosion resistance to salt solutions and seawater.

Applications
For joint welding of CuAl alloys and for build-up welding on steels, cast steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys.

Typical applications are:
Bearing shells, drive shafts, guide rails, sealing surfaces, deep-drawing dies (especially for CrNi steel sheets), drawing mandrels, cones and pressure plates.

Processing instructions
Remove cracked and otherwise damaged material. Clean welding areas. Adjust the heat input during welding to the component, its material and dimensions. Weld with a short, spray or pulsed arc, preferably using pulse arc technology.
