Martensite hardenable weld metal. Tough and ductile martensite. Can be machined in the welded state. Increased wear resistance, hardness and deformation resistance through artificial ageing. Can be nitrided.

Applications
For the application of cutting edges on punching tools and cold shears as well as for wear-resistant coatings on stamping, drawing and press brake tools and aluminum die casting tools.

Processing instructions
Remove cracked or damaged material. Clean welding areas. Generally weld as cold as possible without preheating. Limit interpass temperature to 150 °C. Buffer hardenable base materials in a single layer under preheating, apply the other layers as cold as possible. Ensure a continuous supply of filler material. Use line weld bead technique with low line energy.
