Wear-resistant manganese-aluminium multi-alloy bronze with high hardness. Low coefficient of friction for metallic sliding friction. Work-hardening. Good corrosion resistance to salt solutions and seawater. Scale-resistant.

Applications
For the deposition welding of steels, cast steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys.

Typical applications include:
Forming and deep-drawing tools, guide and slide rails, worm gears, valve seats, control parts
of hydraulic systems, drop forgings, large-bore pistons, bearing parts, injection moulding machine rams, glass mould bases.

Processing instructions
Remove any cracked or damaged material. Clean the welding areas. Adjust the heat input during welding to the component, its material and dimensions. Use short, spray or pulsed arc welding; pulsed arc technique is preferred.
