Flux-cored wire electrode for dissimilar joints and overlays
EnDOtec DO*02
The fully austenitic weld metal of the slag-free flux-cored wire electrode is rust-resistant, work-hardening and has a high elongation. Scale-resistant up to 850 °C. The lowest permissible operating temperature is –80 °C. Highest permissible operating temperature: 300 °C.

with unalloyed and low-alloy steels such as:
P 265 GH, S 255 N to P 460 NL 2
and corresponding cast steel. Also for welding hardfacing and buffer layers on hardenable steels.
Processing instructions
Remove cracked and otherwise defective material. Clean the welding area. Weld using the short-circuit, spray or pulsed arc process, with preference given to the pulsed arc technique. Limit the interpass temperature to 150 °C. Use wire brushes made of austenitic CrNi steels. A plastic liner and contact tip, as for welding aluminium, are recommended.
