TeroMatec 4660 cored wire electrode

for abrasion-resistant coatings

TeroMatec 4660

Slag-free, self-shielding flux cored electrode. Hypereutectic FeCrNbC weld metal with complex carbides. Permissible operating temperatures up to 600 °C. Resists the various types of wear
types of wear such as erosion, blast wear and abrasion. Cracks have no effect on the high wear resistance. Can only be machined by grinding.

Technical data
DIN EN 14700: T Fe16

Applications
For welding armoring on steels and cast steel materials.

Typical applications are
Crusher stars, mixer blades, suction dredger pumps, sand processing plants, excavator buckets, concrete pumps and fan impellers.

Processing instructions
Remove cracked or damaged material. Clean welding areas. During welding, adjust the heat input to the component, its material and dimensions. Weld austenitic manganese steels as cold as possible (below 250 °C) without preheating. For hardenable steels, it is necessary to weld a buffer layer. Limit the height of the deposit to two layers or 6 mm.

Welding positions: PA, PB
Type of current: = (+)
