for difficult-to-weld steels
Xuper NucleoTec 2222
The NiCr-based weld metal of the basic coated stick electrode is corrosion-resistant, scale-resistant and low temperature-tough. High ductility. Reduction of residual welding stresses through plastic deformation. No risk of embrittlement due to σ-phase, carbide or nitride formation.
Technical data
DIN EN 14700: ~ E Ni1
EN ISO 14172: Ni6182 (NiCr 15 Fe 6 Mn)
Material no.: ~ 2.4807
Applications
For joining and surfacing nickel alloys and unalloyed, low-alloyed and high-alloyed steels.
steels. Also for welding steels that are difficult to weld, e.g: Tempered and tool steels.
Typical applications are
Components and systems for low or high temperature applications.
Processing instructions
Remove cracked and otherwise damaged material. Clean welding areas. Re-dry at 350 °C / 2 h. During welding, adjust the heat input to the component, its material and dimensions. Use line bead technique with low line energy. For workpieces with shrinkage
workpieces, first alloy the flanks. Use wire brushes made of austenitic CrNi steels.
Welding positions: all, except PG (f)
Type of current: = (+)
