EnDOtec DO*310 Seamless flux-cored wire

Seamless flux-cored wire for semi-automatic and robotic welding

EnDOtec DO*310

Seamless flux-cored wire for gas-shielded welding, ideal for serial production or maintenance and repair applications where absolutely perfect welding results, efficiency and productivity are required.
Suitable for general-purpose, low-alloy Cr-C-Mn-Fe weld metal for crack-free multi-layer welding. Ideal for renewing worn cast steel components, parts made of medium-carbon steel and for wear-resistant buffering.

High compressive strength and high resistance to plastic deformation. Suitable for multi-layer welding. Dense, magnetic weld metal. Can be machined directly with cutting tools. Weld metal rusts and can be cut with thermal cutting tools.

Excellent arc stability.
Low heat input for low dilution. Exceptionally good weldability regardless of welding position.
Consistent weld bead profile with virtually no spatter. Versatile over a wide range of parameters
.
Lower labour costs due to higher deposition rate.

Technical data
DIN EN 14700: T Fe1
Hardness: ≈30 HB

Applications
Specially designed for protective coatings to protect the workpiece against wear caused by friction (metal on metal), pressure and impact.

Typical applications include:
the renewal and repair of sprockets, guide rollers, pulley blocks, worn bulldozer parts, the renewal of large, heavily worn cast steel components, etc.

Processing instructions
Completely remove old weld metal and worn metal by grinding or using ChamferTrode 03/04.
The preheating requirement depends on the CEV value of the steel and the size, thickness and shape of the workpiece. Castolin Eutectic recommends:

  • CE < 0.2: preheating not absolutely necessary.

  • CE 0.2 – 0.4: Preheat to 100 – 200° C.

To achieve an optimal connection in the case of multi-layer work in the flat position, guide the electrode at an angle of 70 – 80° over the workpiece.
The productivity of semi-automatic welding work can be significantly increased by means of pulsed arc welding.
