Eutalloy 10911 metal powder

for wear-resistant coatings

Eutalloy 10911

Heterogeneous metal powder mixture of diluted matrix component and tungsten carbides. Coatings with NiCrBSi matrix and embedded hard materials. High wear resistance against sliding, galling and grain rolling wear Corrosion resistant. Withstands pressure and light impact stress. For operating temperatures up to 500 °C. Optimum surface protection with layer thicknesses of 0.5 - 2 mm.

Technical data
Hardness [HRC]: 60*
Hardness [HV]: 2500*
Grain size distribution [μm]: 25 - 150

Applications
For thermal spraying with simultaneous melting of unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy steels and the corresponding cast steel grades as well as cast iron materials.

Typical applications are
Blades of sandblasting and other blowers, extruder screws, scrapers, production of pressed bricks from ore, coke residues or coal agglomerates, coke scrapers, aluminium slurry pumps, mixer blades, guides, blades of slag feed pumps, pump housings and blower blades, decanter screws.

Processing instructions
Remove damaged material. Round off or chamfer edges. Clean spray areas, preheat to 50 to 150 °C and roughen. To protect the surface against oxidation, pre-powder a thin layer, heat further locally and melt in while adding powder to alloy the base material.
Flame setting of the SuperJet Eutalloy-S welding torch: neutral when powder passes through. Distance of the flame cone from the weld pool: approx. 5-15 mm.

Spray gun: SuperJet Eutalloy-S
Preheating: Steel: 300 - 400 °C

*The achievable hardness values depend on the selected spraying parameters, preheating temperatures, etc. No guarantee can therefore be given that the hardness values will be achieved.
