Eutalloy PE

Eutalloy PE refers to a range of self-fluxing nickel based alloy powders developed by Castolin Eutectic for various applications, with a focus on glass mould component repair and protection. These alloys are characterised by requiring a low energy input for melting and allowing for rapid deposition, making them suitable for extensive repairs and preventive coatings of glass mould seams, edges and guides.

Flame spraying with simultaneous melting
The spray additive is melted, sprayed onto the workpiece and melted at the same time in a single operation. SuperJet Eutalloy S and CastoDyn DS 8000 with CastoDyn SF Lance are used as spraying devices. The short spraying distance enables precise, targeted armoring, e.g. on edges/tips. Coatings from 0.1 mm thickness are non-porous. Coating thicknesses of several millimeters are possible.
