EutecTrode XHD6868 welding electrodes

for welding steels

Properties

  • High Metal Recovery: 170%
  • Tensile Strength (Rm): 800 MPa
  • Yield Strength (Rp0.2): 670 MPa
  • Elongation (A5): 17.5%
  • Hardness (after welding): 260 HV30
  • Hardness (after work-hardening): 350 HV30

Description

  • Application: Designed for high-speed welding of difficult-to-weld, galvanized, or dissimilar steels. Suitable for rebuilding and buttering layers before wear facing.
  • Performance: High efficiency alloyed electrode with high tensile strength and crack resistance. Suitable for galvanized steels where zinc fumes are minimized while preserving the anti-corrosion properties of the zinc layer.
  • Weld Yield: 170%
  • Deposition Rate: High
  • Weld Surface Finish: Remarkable with very easy slag removal.

Applications

  • Primary Applications:
    • Maximum safety margin repairs of cracks in castings, machine housings, frames, chassis, springs, etc.
    • Joining dissimilar or unknown grades of steel.
  • Secondary Applications:
    • Machinable build-up and overlays to resist wear by friction, impact, or pressure on gears, shafts, bearings, etc.
    • Cushion layer for E+C TeroCote alloys.
